I guess I could say that this is part of an "inner power" series I found myself doing. The first in the series being this one, of course:

This is not a particularly good drawing but I'm satisfied with the execution well enough.

The contrast of black and white is very appealing to me.

This is incredible. The shading and shadows you've captured on her face make it look like she's looking at the light, like she has her own inner struggle to figure out, and a way to find guidance. At leased that's the impression I'm getting. The art and style you have with drawing human characters looks similar to Don Bluth cartoons, but still with a hint of your own style. Keep it up and you could try making it look like Japanese anime. (BTW, "anime" is literally Japanese for "cartoon"). Anyway, the shaded backgrounds look like either flames or rising smoke, or something spiritual and out of this world. Whatever it is, I really like your creative ideas (MY ideas have been done many times before, so I heavily envy you). Keep up the good work.

great job on this it looks almost like it was made by a pro

the lighting its just excellent and the anatomy its really good, my only criticism its that her right hand looks like it only has 3 fingers and the other one its not attached to her hand :S but thats probably because of the pose great job!
